A pocket

This is the theme for week 31 of The documented life project. I did some junk journaling working on recycled cardboard page and then used a flattened toilet roll to make my pocket. I covered everything is papers, added a few pretty embellishments and started to add pretty things to my pocket. I bought I lovely red flowery dress on the weekend and I liked the tag on it almost as much as the dress!

Voyage

I am on a bit of a creative voyage at the moment and wanted to craft just for me, but expressing my current journey onto canvas happens to fit nicely with the current mix it monthly challenge. I covered up something I had been working on in the Flora Bowley course that just wasn't me and started again. Here is how it developed:

Week 30...

The documented life. This week the theme is using labels, etc. I used some clothes labels and gessoed over them to create layers/texture.

 

Here is my finished page which I sprayed with Dylusion ink and did some stamping using PaperArtsy minis:

 

 

I am going to enter my page into That Craft Place challenge which is anything goes and also share my page over at Paper Saturdays.

Me Time Messages Begins!

Today sees the start of the Me Time Messages workshop which is free. Mixed media and journaling based week one has a bumper crop of three videos. I am sharing the first two today and then will launch video number three on Saturday. Do hope you will join in and I look forward to seeing your Me Time Messages project.

Use a small photo is the theme for this week's The Documented Life project. I found this messing about photo of my niece and I from last summer. I am counting down the weeks until the summer holidays start again...it is 1 week by the way!
